About AMP
We are your gateway to Movie Screenings in the Portland Metro Area. Although we may not get every screening in the Area we get plenty to keep you busy year round. Last year we promoted over 60 new movie pre-screenings, and gave away nearly 7,000 Passes to these movies before they were released to theaters.
We make a point of our movies being first come first served at the website so check back regularly and although we do e-mail our members from time to time on new movies we let people who visit the website regularly get first shot at passes.
If you love going to the movies or want to be the first to see the next blockbuster, become a member of AccessMetropolis its simple, fast and best of all its FREE!
If you are able to, please help support this website by donating whatever and whenever you can. We do not charge for this service and it takes alot of time and effort to keep it going. |

New Movie Reviews! |
-
Dear John
"Dear John" is a romance novel with blank pages; all we're left with is a pretty dust jacket.
-
From Paris With Love
What might have been a fairly standard buddy comedy is elevated by a hilariously irreverent performance by Travolta and Morel's knack for creating exciting action pieces.
-
Edge of Darkness
"Edge of Darkness" is a top-notch thriller that will keep you on edge trying to figure out what will happen next. It's a well-crafted addition to a genre that has made a refreshing and welcome comeback in recent years.

When in Rome
It's an insipid waste and that's "When in Rome" in a nutshell. Every ounce of potential has been steadfastly turned away from in order to make a safe little piece of clowning. A stupid movie is usually bad enough, but a smart movie that seems that seems to have had a lobotomy forced on it is disheartening on every level. Avoid.
