We make a point of our movies being first come first served at the website so check back regularly and although we do e-mail our members from time to time on new movies we let people who visit the website regularly get first shot at passes.
If you love going to the movies or want to be the first to see the next blockbuster, become a member of AccessMetropolis its simple, fast and best of all its FREE!
If you are able to, please help support this website by donating whatever and whenever you can. We do not charge for this service and it takes alot of time and effort to keep it going. |

Alice in Wonderland
While the script for "Alice in Wonderland" has some issues, it's a great looking film that's worth checking out for both adults and kids.

Alice in Wonderland
As far as Disney adaptations go, "Alice in Wonderland" pales in comparison to something like the "Narnia" movies, which always kept at least one foot in reality and remained aware that people who enjoy high fantasy like Carroll's classic work are more than happy to experience the insanity, but don't necessarily want to be driven insane themselves.

Alice in Wonderland
But none of this excellent work really goes anywhere. Or rather it goes somewhere we've all been before. There's a lot of panache involved in getting there, but it can't hide the fact that this "Wonderland" is sadly ordinary.

Brooklyn's Finest
Antoine Fuqua is clearly a filmmaker at the top of his game, and because of that, "Brooklyn's Finest" is a far stronger movie than "Training Day" and possibly even more effective than "The Departed" because it sets up its gritty realism early on and successfully maintains that to the very end.
